In accounting Dashboard balance in GL for Bank and Cash journals is not
showing up when configuring outstanding payment for incoming and
outgoing payment with the same account as the Cash or Bank account and also before that .
this is in odoo 16 online version
Same issue and do not know why!
the BALANCE IN GL amount in the accounting dashboard is calculated based on the bank statements.
odoo will consider latest statement i.e date DESC, id DESC and it's statements lines for the END BALANCE.
so if you have the last bank statement of date 10th JAN and you are importing another statement with 9th JAN, then it won't be considered. so make sure to import statement with latest date

No , But I found that because I have did override to the accounts
Odoo support found a solution for this. It dealt with the Windows action for the accounting dashboard.
