I'm playing around with PLM to evaluate it. And run into two questions...

  1. When doing ECOs and revision handling of BOMs it seems like versions are simply integers... We use the following revision numbering scheme for our items: PA1, PA2, PA3, etc -> A, A2, A3 -> PB1, PB2 -> B, B2, etc, etc Is there any way I can get this type of versioning in there instead?
  2. Can I make ECOs that consists of multiple items and BOMs in one ECO?

Hi,

the last article I had not seen before, and that probably give me some input on my second question.

How about using our standard revision scheme for items instead of pureley linear like 1 -> 2 ->3 etc?
