I just want to give out a password... and then someone could go in and access that page if they had the password.
Same thing... but ideally, I would give out a webpage that isn't listed on the webpage at all (I can give someone the url), then they go to it and type in the password to access it.

You can achieve this using page visibility.
Enable debug mode and go to Site -> Pages.Click on the debug icon of the page you want to edit.
Choose the visibility as with password and enter the password.
Now when a public user tries to access the page, it will ask for a password.
