Hello there,


our company recently acquired the Odoo V14 Enterprise Edition.


We tried to automatically import our bank statements.


If we use the .csv option, the system doesn't recognize the rows and columns correctly (we tried two different .csv files from different banks). He gives us only one option for manually changing the first row. If we use CAMT import we get a long error message after we click the import button.


Sadly, you don't find any proper documentation regarding bank import.



Maybe someone could help?

Hi, I'm Jan's IT admin who is responsible for the server setup for Odoo. As I have access to the server logs I see this error before the traceback:

We haven't yet imported any bank statements (it's a testing environment after all). I mention this because the possible solutions (e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24308239/postgresql-integer-out-of-range) I find regarding this general error always assume that a number of inserts reached the maximum for the integer datatype. I tried altering the table to use bigint for sequence_number but it didn't help either (it just says "ERROR: bigint out of range"). In the XML I find the values from the UPDATE statement above in this part:

I am not familiar with either Odoo nor with CAMT but my intuition (which might be wrong because of lack of familiarity) suggests that either ElctrncSeqNb or LglSeqNb should be used for sequence_number.


PS: The error shows when confirming to upload the bank statement. We don't get into any sort of Import Tool or Formatting Options.
