backup database from postgresql 10.18 and restore it to postgresql 12.8

Question

Good morning everyone,
i am trying to restore a database created in an older version of postgresql, and it gives me this error message( i am using odoo13):
Database restore error: Postgres subprocess ('/usr/bin/pg_restore',
'--dbname=test', '--no-owner', '/tmp/tmplqv2n1ih') error

Hi Fathiabm,
- This type of error occurs when you upload sql file or dump file from UI.
- You have to download zipfile from older version and then upload it to new version.
- You can also restore database using psql command if you are ubuntu user.
- If you need any help, please share us more details.
