Tinhvan completed the Project Leader Onboarding course in March 2023 over a possible 7-week time span under the guidance of the Odoo expert, Vivian. The partner made the most out of PLO by assigning salespeople and account managers to take all four spots in the program, having the team trained the same way we train our in-house Functional Consultants to learn everything about Odoo. 

But the journey was not smooth sailing. One of the challenges during the training was the proximity of locations. The onboarding program had to be online with the Tinhvan team in Vietnam and Vivian in Hong Kong. Tinhvan nevertheless aced in various subjects — after all, communication and active participation were key! 

And out of the many topics covered in the program, Tinhvan found Odoo's Quickstart Implementation Methodology a vital course to master. In it, the team acquired a standardized skillset to prospect, sell, consult, and implement an Odoo-supported solution. And what the mentor brings to the table here is her wealth of experience implementing Odoo into international businesses across sectors. Picking up the philosophy and guidelines of the Quickstart Implementation Methodology under advice from Vivian, the Tinhvan team can now sell and implement projects more quickly and effectively while reallocating the time it once would spend on customizing solutions to expanding its services, with all the more basic client requirements taken care of by standard features covered in the flexible "out-of-the-box" Odoo solution. 

As for projects with more complicated requirements, this coverall course also gave Tinhvan access to the Odoo Enterprise source code that offers a fast track to developing customized solutions on the foundation of our codebase. Besides optimizing Tinhvan's effort, this will also get its clients seamless technical support from Odoo in the future when upgrading their systems.
