Canam Technology Inc. (CTI) has been the US leader in rebroadcasting innovation since 1961. 2021 will mark our 60th Anniversary in the rebroadcast business.
CTI has almost sixty years of experience as a designer and manufacturer of Radio Rebroadcast Systems for highway tunnels, in-buildings and subways. Its experience as both manufacturer and system integrator brings a unique combination of expertise to the most challenging projects. Our Mark-III AM/FM and Mark IV VHF, UHF, 700 & 800Mhz equipment platforms are the result of over twenty years of R&D. Our Mark V Auxiliary Radio Communications System (ACRS) BDA & Transceiver, using our Patented Override Technology, represents the state of the art in rebroadcast technology. The current ownership and management teams have been in place since 1997.
CTI has completed hundreds of rebroadcast installations in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Currently, we are in the third phase of a fifty tunnel AM/ UHF project covering over one hundred kilometers in Colombia. We recently delivered the UHF/VHF & 800Mhz radio system for the LA METRO Crenshaw-LAX subway system, having completed an integrated system test of the entire 20-mile radio system at our Long Beach, CA, USA facility.
