I am looking for a way to export the survey question answers... I cannot seem to find an easy way to do that ... any suggestions?
To be clear, I am looking for a way to get the data from the survey in a spreadsheet including all the names and the value of their answers... just like you would export the data from a form submission and not just the form field names.

It's an old topic, I know, but maybe someone else like myself stumbles across it here.
The answer by Cybrosys below is partially correct - you just have to select additional fields in the export, depending on the question types: answer, free text answer, numerical answer, etc., so that these get exported into the Excel/CSV file as well.
It would be really great, if there was an easier way to export all the answers in a standardized Excel or CSV format via one button click - like the existing print button, which has no real value, as any PDF generted from that will have glitches at page breaks and is not really machine readable.

Hi,
To export the questions into an Excel sheet you need to go to Surveys->Questions->Questions filter by Survey, select all using the checkbox, click the action button and then export.
To export the answers go to Surveys->Participations->Detailed Answers select all again using the checkbox, click the action button and then export.

NO this does not give you the answers values. I have already tried this. It only gives you the answer type.
