Change the unit of measure of an invoice

Question

We want to change the unit of measure of an inventory item on an invoice to have a single quantity, i.e. i am selling one or more items but the base quantity is one (1) however on my inventory list as well as bill of material i want to be able have a different unit of measure e.g. 1.1234
Is this possible in Odoo? the reason for this is so that our invoices and quotes do not look so cluttered and that we risk clients mis reading our quotes and invoices.

We are running Odoo online as well as Odoo

*Enable Unit of Measure (UoM) Feature*
Go to *Settings ‣ Inventory* and enable *Units of Measure*.  *Create a Custom UoM for Display Purposes*
Go to *Inventory ‣ Configuration ‣ Units of Measure*. Create a new UoM   based on your base unit. Set *Rounding Precision* to *1.0000* for inventory and *1* for sales.  *Assign the UoM to Products*
In *Products ‣ General Information*, set: *UoM:* "Sales Unit" (for invoices/quotes). *Purchase UoM:* Base UoM (e.g., 1.1234).   *Invoice and Quotes Formatting*
