One of our customers has a multicompany setup.
In the specific example we have several companies which will order goods one from the other. In the contacts of the particular companies I set the customer/vendor locations in a way that they will share one transit location. So if
- comany 1 orders goods from company 2,
- company 2 will send them to "transit company 1", which is the vendor location where
- company 1 will expect goods to arrive.
After setting up the routes and rules everything is working automatically as expected for products without tracking. They are produced in company 2, shipped to the transit location, company 1 can receive and process them, transit location is empty again.
But in case we have LOT tracked products, they are shipped to the transit location, company 1 can even see the LOT name, but we can't assign the same LOT in the receipt as it is related to the 2nd company.
If now we create a 2nd LOT with exactly the same name, we have 2 different LOTs with that name. But the actual issue is, that the original LOT will remain forever in that transit location, while the one we created will have a negative QTY.
Is there any way in odoo default to solve this?
