I am having issues with the SALES > REPORTING > SALES export to xls file. 
I have all of my own modules set up, but I haven't made any changes that could cause this issue to occur. This problem appears on the production server but never on the development or testing environments.
Warning message: "Error: block

There is no indication of an error in the log.
Additionally, this malfunction is unique to the case where a single product is chosen from the list. I was able to get the file to download after excluding the product from the pivot view of the report.
I've been looking into this for three days now.

Hi,

First of all, compare xls lib version in local and in production server. If not similar, try to upgrade/downgrade to the local version, where you said that it's working and try again.

If the problem persists, you need to compare your failing product info with another product to check which column causes the problem.

Share a video so that we can see what you're doing, list of data you want to export, your product config..
