Where can I find full documentation of odoo?

Question

I want to know what the switch "show extra fields" on the customise tab on the product page does, but when I go to the ecommerce documentation it only shows a few ecommerce tutorials. Is there a in depth documentation of all the features of Odoo and where can I find it?

I think it depends on what kind of documentation, if you want functional technical documentation, you can buy the odoo books, within the books there is also development documentation.

Odoo as such also has official documentation, which to my liking is not so explanatory, but it serves as a basis.
