I manage around 5 companies, each with different currencies, using Odoo's multi-company feature. Some users have access to one or more of these companies, and I’m facing the following challenge:

I have managers who oversee timesheets, time off, and other requests for employees across multiple companies. They often get confused when switching between companies.

For example, Manager 'X' manages the following employee 'A,' 'B,' and 'C':

  • X is an employee with a contract and time off allocation in Company 1.
  • A is an employee with a contract and time off allocation in Company 2.
  • B is an employee with a contract and time off allocation in Company 3.
  • C is an employee with a contract and time off allocation in Company 4.

When Employee A requests time off, it's submitted through Company 2, and similarly for Employees B and C through their respective companies. However, Manager X has to manually switch between companies to approve each request, which creates confusion, especially with multiple managers.

I’m thinking of removing most of the multi-company roles especially the res.users. Do you have a better solution for managing this situation?"
