Hello,

I'm encountering an issue with our company's website, which is built using the Odoo 17 Website module.

Initially, the website was constructed using the block editor, like a year ago, and everything functioned as expected. We could easily use both the block editor and the HTML editor to make changes, and all modifications were saved correctly.

However, recently, after making some changes directly through the HTML/CSS editor, I noticed that the most recent modifications made using the block editor disappeared. Now, when I attempt to add or modify content using the block editor, the changes don't persist—they aren't reflected in the template or visible in the HTML editor, they can be saved, but when I change anything in the editor, they disappear, because they don't exist in its context. Only the changes made explicitly in the HTML editor are being saved and displayed.

This behavior is unexpected, as previously, both editors worked ok.

Is it possible that an Odoo update or some inheritance issue is causing this behavior?

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Are there known solutions or workarounds to allow both block editor and HTML editor changes to coexist and be saved properly?
