We are performing the installation on a local host environment based on the provided documentation. All required setup steps from our side have been completed successfully. However, we are encountering a lost connection issue specifically within certain models related to the Discuss module.

Insufficient memory or CPU overload can cause connection drops, so monitor your server's RAM and CPU usage. While less likely on localhost, network issues like firewall interference or incorrect hostname/IP configuration should be ruled out.
Odoo configuration factors include long polling issues and the number of worker processes; ensure the longpolling_port is correctly set and increase worker processes based on your server's resources. Database problems like corruption or slow queries could also be the cause, so run a database integrity check and analyze query logs. Finally, consider potential conflicts with custom modules by disabling them one by one. To diagnose, check Odoo logs, monitor server resources, test with a clean database, update Odoo, and simplify the configuration.

In the future, please consider (1) using a Question that makes it clear what you ask without requiring people to open your post and (2) adding Tags.
