I have a persistent issue with me my Odoo 10 installation. I am running it on a Bitnami stack in Google Cloud Platform (Debian). 

Every time I upload pictures e.g. to my products or employees, the images get very gray and they get vertical stripes in them.

Note: I was running Odoo 10 on a Ubuntu platform but did not face this issue. I suspect it has to do with graphics libraries on the Debian environment that I am using.
