I want to configure the system so that the product categories are by company. I use the Multi-Company database. Is this possible?

Hi Mauri.,
By default Odoo do not allow you to set a category to a specific company, a category is set to a product. To achieve your result, you would need some customization of the category model, to include a field specifically for the companies, and the apply your logic.
If you prefer somebody to help you, you can check this out, as I think it will do what you are lookinf for
look for produc_category or sh_ecom_categ_multi_website
in the Odoo app store
Make sure they suite the version you are using.

"Categories" is not a question.
We get almost 1,000 posts a month and not everyone will open a post to find out what your question is.
