I've been reading everything I can find on this subject and have gotten valuable input from various people with the necessary expertise to put me in the right direction. But I'm still puzzled.

First of all my needs:
* 2 separate stores for accounting who nevertheless share stock: one is the current physical store, the second will be the webshop.
* several domains with different websites pointing to the webshop

Currently we are using multi-company already so that takes care of one part.

I've heard that in Odoo 9 there is an interface for the multistore module which is missing in Odoo 8 and it's possible to back-port it. Has anyone heard of a way to do this? 
Maybe there is a more accepted way of doing this? Like for example running a separate instance of Odoo for each domain and allowing them to talk with each other, hook them up to some central Odoo which contains the stock and which also takes care of multi-company.
