Hello everyone,

The question is about migrating from Odoo 8 CRM to Odoo 9. Everything is going well except the last step which is list of phone calls(crm.phonecall). Seems like this feature isn't included in the new version anymore. Having in mind that phone calls can be attached to a lead, opportunity or a client(partner), I can't import my phone calls as activities for leads/opportunities. The reason is I'll miss the partners phone call information because activities are just for leads/opportunities. Also activity's field type for next action date is "date" while phone calls where "date and time".

Do you have any suggestion for transferring phone calls to Odoo 9 with a reasonable integrity and accessibility?

I tried converting them to notes. After a while we realized it's not a good solution because you might miss notes for example when they are being attached to one of the contacts but not the company and the other way around. Second solution was creating a module that is mostly copied from version 8. It does what we need and we also changed it a little bit. Based on what our account manager at SF office said, the phone calls are going to be back in next version.
