It happens from time to time that someone mistakenly sets the product type to “Storable” instead of “Service”. If you now have product movements on this item, you can no longer change the type. 

So far, I have managed this by duplicating the article, correcting the new one and archiving the old one. If this incorrectly typed article is now contained in several hundred BOMs, I have to change them all manually.

Is there a more elegant solution?

I found a solution some month ago here in the forum with a serveraction - would it work here as well?
