Hello,

Our entire lead generation process is email based. Currently we receive emails that get converted to leads which are assigned to our sales agents.

We are using Google Apps for mails.

We are facing a problem where some of the incoming emails are getting converted to leads, and some aren't.

All The mails are hitting Odoo (we see the Messages in Settings|Email|Messages) but what is puzzling is that the "Related Document Model" is blank and the "Related Document ID" is 0 for all the mails that didn't get processed into a lead.

For those that do get processed into a lead, the "Related Document Model" is "crm.lead" and the "Related Document ID" is some integer value.

Some more information: 1) We've tried using POP and IMAP settings for incoming mail server 2) For POP we have it set as "delete" when it is fethced from Odoo and all mails are always getting deleted 3) This inbox that odoo is fetching from is a dedicated incoming email box only and not accessed by anyone manually

Any help will be really appreciated as we are unable to start using Odoo across our team because we are always unsure of whether or not some mails are missed.

Many Thanks

Gaurang

Hi All, So we troubleshooted this and realized the reason was due to "Notified Partners" being cc'ed on the mails coming in.

So for any User who's alias email was configured (e.g. user1@domain.com) and that same email was being cc'ed in the incoming mail, then the result was the email wouldn't get converted to a lead and instead would get converted to a notification to that individual user.

To stop this, all we had to do was remove all the alias emails from the users.

Working fine now.
