Brussels, Belgium, September 18, 2025 - Odoo, the open-source platform providing a suite of business management applications, kicked off its annual event, Odoo Experience. As the largest tech and business gathering in Europe, Odoo Experience spans three days during which the new product version is unveiled. In parallel, over 400 conferences are held, and more than 400 exhibitors showcase their activities. The event also serves as an opportunity to present the past year’s achievements and upcoming projects.
Odoo's performance in 2025 and outlook for 2026
As version 19 of the software has just been introduced to the audience at Brussels Expo, Odoo is taking advantage of the event’s opening to share some key figures. In 2025, the Walloon unicorn is expected to generate €650 million in billing revenue, achieving 42% growth of its annual recurring revenue. With a profitable and sustainable business model, the company expects to reach the €1 billion mark by 2027. Already employing nearly 7,000 people, Odoo plans to grow its workforce to 10,000 employees in 2026.
Powering industries with Odoo's all-in-one solution
Among this year’s big announcements, Odoo is tackling employee salary management with a new, more powerful payroll module. The goal is to enable any company to manage payroll processes efficiently, directly through the dedicated application.
Another important focus for Odoo is offering solutions tailored to the needs of each industry. To that end, 100 different business types now have access to a package including recommended apps, modules, and tools for simple and efficient task management. “We’ve focused on creating packages for new industries, but also on improving existing ones so that these sectors have the perfect tool. Odoo is a game-changer by covering the specific needs of each profession at an affordable price,” explains Fabien Pinckaers, CEO of Odoo. With just a few clicks, these industries can be fully operational from day one. Targeted sectors include accounting firms and HoReCa (Hotel, Restaurant, Café) establishments.
A major effort was made to deploy the Point of Sale package in nearly 200 HoReCa establishments in order to gather constructive feedback and evolve the product. Today, restaurateurs benefit from the best fully integrated solution on the market. It includes a cash register system, mobile ordering, kitchen display, and online reservations – all at an attractive price starting from €19.90 per user per month.
The fiduciary sector is also a priority for the software provider. Already, three of the world’s four largest audit and consulting firms (“Big Four”) have adopted Odoo’s software suite. This is a tremendous vote of confidence, that Odoo strives to honor by continuously developing a more powerful, compliant, and reliable tool.
Given the new European regulations on electronic invoicing, this topic has been and remains a core focus for Odoo. The primary goal was to ensure the Invoicing app is compliant, but also more efficient and user-friendly than ever. In 2025, Odoo Academy sessions were held weekly in Wallonia and Flanders, training around 200 participants per week on administrative and financial functionalities. In parallel, 21 business shows were held across Belgium to raise awareness of Peppol to around 2,000 people. Altogether, several thousand individuals across Europe have been guided on how to use the Invoicing module, including the requirements of the new legislation.
An ambitious path for Odoo in 2026 and beyond
Looking ahead to 2026, Odoo has ambitious large-scale projects in the pipeline. The company remains true to its mission: to provide a leading management software solution with all the tools necessary to help businesses streamline operations and boost their results. “What matters most to me is seeing customers satisfied with the product’s features,” says Fabien Pinckaers, CEO of Odoo.
