Hello!


We created automatic actions that send emails when a task is moved from one project stage to the other. However when the email needs to be sent to certain users (we can't find the pattern), we get this message: 
The operation cannot be completed: another model requires the record being deleted. If possible, archive it instead. Model: Activity (mail.activity) Constraint: mail_activity_user_id_fkey 

please notice that at no point we are deleting something, and the automatization is correct because it works perfectly with some users. Are we doing something wrong?

step 1: Active your Debug Mode, login your system press ( Ctrl + K ) search Active Debug Mode and Activate debug mode.

step 2: Go to Technical -emails than delete all emails log.

step 3: Go to Technical -Models and search Mail.activity 

step 4. create menu and select parent menu, Save and refresh your browser . You can see the tree view menu for your selected model under the parent menu which you select parent menu .

step 5: Now you can delete all data for Mail Activity which you address your question.
