Hello,

you can try this way:

1. duplicate this route 

"Pick components, manufacture and then store products (3 steps)"

and name it for example: "X route 2" 

2. open duplicate route from previous step and go to rules

3. choose third rule , open it then change the destination location like this:

Note: I hve created a new internal location and named it "new destination location"

4. save it , and go to your product categories menu item in Settings tab which will be your "certain product category 2", and choose the created "X route" under Routes

Note that: this route will be applied to products under this category when you create MO order, which means other manufactured products which belong to other category will follow the default route "standard 3 steps route"

5. create your cerain product under this category.

6. create MO order like this:

7. by going into smart buttons "transfers".

Note: the second transfer is from "post production" to "new destination location"

8. if we try to create Mo order for another product which belongs to another category:

hope this will help.

If 'another Location' is a child location of WH/Stock, maybe you can manually select "another location' as the destination location while validating the Internal transfer (WH/Post-Production -> WH/Stock) or even create a 'put away' rule

However if your manufacturing routes vary by product, you would require to provide the route in 'Operation' field in the Miscellaneous tab of the product BOM.
