No red error or waning during import/export when there is

Question

Hello everyone! I noticed that after using domain filter for Odoo installation on linux server, during import/export, the red error warning that normally tells what's going on with the export/import disappears. When trying to import/exoprt, it spins and then stops, with out any success or error, leaving me in the dark. How can I make the error message to display to enable me understad the problem?

Sometimes it can help to reduce the batch size and see what happens with just a few records:

Check the log file.
If you don't see an error in the web client it could be timing out.
