Hi there,

my customer thinks about joining odoo enterprise and I am thinking about his business. He is renting Rehearsal Rooms for musicians.


Does anyone have an idea which apps or rough workflow could be worth a view?


My first idea is using "Meeting Rooms" App, but there is no easy connection/automation towards automatic sales and invoicing. Anyone any idea how to make this business case run???

Thanks for all your answers. Yes, I think managing the rehearsal rooms via Appointments App might be a good choice, because one can have a good overview about free and reserved rooms.

My questions more about how to automate invoicing on booking appointments. So whenever a booking is created, there should be an Account Move (or Sale Order + Account Move?) created at the same time. In best case I can pass the context details to invoicing (appointment start + end details, partner_id, etc.). I think there are maybe some automated actions worth a view. What do you think? How would you automate the invoincing process of bookings?

Odoo standard functionality creates a sale order and invoice, if an upfront payment option is enabled and a service product configured for an appointment.

If the rent is one time then you can directly create a Sales Order or an Invoice. 

If the rent is recursive, you should use the subscription app which will generate the invoice recursively.

For the rooms, you can create a product of service type and use them in the sales order.
