I need to make sure that Odoo first checks the available quantity of the components at the subcontracting location rather than automatically triggering the need for resupply (which is the standard behavior)

Change the standard supply method on the route resupply subcontractor on order to the following :
Nice however this will work as MTO, meaning, if you have 3 units in stock at the subcontractor location and need 5 units, the resupply will be 5 units.
It would be much better if the resupply would be of 2 units only! I made tests with reordering rules in the subcontracting location, but didn't find a solution that would do the reservations correctly or not ask about backorders, do you have a solution?
