Currently in invoices, I see a $ sign, but this is ambiguous. It's Canadian dollars, but that isn't communicated. How can I make invoices show the currency as a 3-letter currency code (for example, CAD)?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:

Hi Cedric Eveleigh,
If you are using Odoo Enterprise Goto Accounting > Configuration > Accounting > Currencies
If you are using Odoo Community Goto Invoicing > Configuration > Accounting > Currencies
Open the record and update the symbol to CAD and save
Hope it Helps,
Kiran K
@Kiran K
I'm using enterprise. When I edit the CAD currency, there's no option to change the symbol from $ to CAD.
Edit: Thanks @Kiran K! Developer mode made that setting available. It seems to me like 3-letter currency codes should be the default icons for displaying currency - there's no ambiguity.
Go to Settings and Activate Developer Mode
