Installed Odoo Community v15 on Win10 Home Intel i5, 16Gb RAM, 250GB SSD drive.

Fresh install, i.e. no other Odoo version was previously installed has I reinstalled Windows from a Clonezilla system backup before installing v15.

Everything worked great under v14.

v15 install went OK, until I got to the initial database creation window.

I did choose to use my own password, same one I used in v14.

I used the same email address, password, language and country as in v14

I can't figure out why I get error messages upon trying to create the initial database...

To erase the failed database, I have to try to create a second one which also fails, and then I can erase both of them !!!

Hi,

This is a known issue in Odoo 15 and has been impacting dozens of people.
See also https://github.com/odoo/odoo/issues/78001 which is closely tied to it.
Odoo employees will come with a fix as soon as possible :)
