Suriel Amisadai Lopez Segura, Business Analyst Team Lead at Odoo

Suriel Lopez started working with Odoo 7 years ago as an in-house developer for a distribution company in Mexico. He gained experience in the technical backend part of the systems for 5 years.

In 2017 he decided to move to the bay area to seek new job opportunities where he found Odoo becoming a business analyst. He has now implemented a huge number of successful projects in the American market specializing in legal requirements for Mexico.

Now as a Team Leader in Odoo he is working together with the localizations product owner and the R&D team to have all the features necessary for the Mexican market.

Fiscal Regulations for the Mexican companies have been required now for many years and Odoo has been able to provide the necessary requirements to comply with these regulations.

Since the law is constantly changing and there are many new common practices in Mexican companies Odoo has to adapt to this changing environment. There are many features that we provide listed below.

- Accounting Reports in XML (Balance sheet, CoA and closing year entry report)
- Invoice signing
- Payment signing
- Invoice double cancel validation
- Customs for importing/exporting products
