Our company was born more than a decade ago in Helsinki, Finland, at the far corner of northern Europe. And in the very same year – 2004 - when Facebook started its operations in the colleges of the United States. After working a lifelong career as a Ph.D. of Science in Agronomy and Soil Chemistry, Väinö, our patron of the family, finally retired from a large multinational chemical conglomerate. Now having free time in his hands and a large family of able-bodied young men and women we sat down to think our next moves. We decided that the world is not ready yet and we have a lot to contribute to society and especially for the business realm. We formed Terrakunta osuuskunta (osk.) as a co-operative enterprise whose mission is to empower companies and individuals to be more effective. Ownership of Terrakunta is distributed equally between family members. That decision has enabled us to focus on the long-term health of the company. Terrakunta house enjoys excellent overall credit ratings and has been operating and growing steadily for more than a decade. In almost all our operating years we have enjoyed healthy profitability and our growth has been sustainable. Terra Colligo is part of the Terrakunta group and focuses on IT solutions for business. We are experts in business productivity solutions and finding optimal elucidations for business process improvements. Lately, Terra Colligo is in the process of expanding our business to Latin America and starting from Mexico. Following our success in operating in Northern Europe, the reasons for this expansion are naturally family-oriented. Considering Mexican culture, it is rather fitting that Terra Colligo is starting its operations in Mexico when its European parent company is getting ready to celebrate its quinceañera – 15 years of operating.
