We’ve been an Australian Odoo Partner since 2021, and our clients come from a broad range of industries and locations from all over Australia. Odoo Scoping & Gap Analysis

Before we proceed with any Odoo project we perform a full business scope and Gap Analysis to find roadblocks and identify issues and processes that will need addressing. This is the first step of a long lasting partnership with our customers and the outcome will be a clear and actionable roadmap for Odoo implementation and beyond.

Odoo Implementation

During the Odoo implementation process, we will nominate a Summer Technology project manager and our customer will nominate an Odoo Project Champion (as well as other key personnel) . The implementation will be defined with tasks, deliverables and milestones. We try to keep customisation to a minimal level and refrain from introducing big process changes. Change management is our biggest concern, so engaging and training users and managers is our priority.

Odoo Support

Summer Technology use Odoo internally (so we practice what we preach) ; our customers can reach us via phone, email or the Odoo Ticketing system, all roads will be converging towards our ticketing system. We offer our Odoo customers Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to prioritise our queues. Regardless of status or agreements, call us and we will pick up the phone and try to help you on the spot.

Odoo Upgrade

Summer Technology recommends upgrading Odoo every second year (unless a new feature is an absolute must), for that purpose we manage each upgrade as a mini-project to make sure that our customers are kept in the loop and have tested and accepted all upgrades and changes before going live. Some of those major upgrades may result in extra user training and a rewrite of existing procedures and manuals.

Odoo Customisation

Summer Technology team of Odoo experts work closely with our customers to customise any module where Odoo is not 100% fit for purpose and a customisation is essential. We do not customise for the sake of it, we'd rather find a way within Odoo to fit the process before considering any customisation.

Odoo Training

Training starts early during the implementation and is targeted towards the project champion(s) ; as we move closer toward go live date, training will expand to target end users. It goes without saying that processes will change and get refined as more users contribute their input towards the implementation.

Summer Technology provide Odoo training after the go-live implementation; it can be just a refresher training, new staff training or a new introduced process.
