Odoo is expecting the "App Secret" field to be filled in, but it’s either missing from the form or not configured in your Meta (Facebook) Developer account.

This usually happens during the initial WhatsApp Business integration setup in Odoo.

 What the "App Secret" Is:

The App Secret is a key generated by Meta for Developers for your WhatsApp Business App.

It is used to secure the connection between Meta (WhatsApp Business API) and Odoo.

Without this, Odoo cannot complete the WhatsApp setup.

To retrieve the App Secret, navigate to the Meta developer console, https://developers.facebook.com/apps and select the app that Odoo is being configured in. Then in the left-side menu, under App settings, select Basic.

Next, click Show next to the field App secret, and enter the account password to verify ownership. Copy the App secret and then paste that copied value into the App Secret field on the Odoo WhatsApp Business Account configuration dashboard.

Hello, the issue is that the user does not have the WhatsApp administrator permission in Odoo. To enable this, go to Settings > Users and select your user. In the 'Other' section, WhatsApp will appear, and you can assign the Administrator role. I hope this helps.

I can't see the field in developer mode either. The Access Token field does not exist for me either.

The message is coming as value for a required field is not provided, the App Secret (app_secret) is expecting a value, if the field is not visible for you, turn on the developer mode and see if you can spot it
