I am on version 10.
How do you handle the case for a restaurant to handle multiple session from one point of sale.
each user are on different devices, we have a waiter at the bar, we have some waiter on ipad going around the restaurant to check and take orders from customer.
The problem is that we cannot have, or did not find out how yet.
But we want to have one point of sale, accessible at the same time by different user and multiple devices.

I will look at the apps for sync POS order.
I though there could be a way with the default POS system but it is not.
I already know that we can swtich POS user from within the same session on the same device.

I tested today odoo 10 pos local ce edition install. I created 2 users, sharing local server on local network. I logged in same user from 2 devices. When playing in pos restaurant floor view I found out, it is not multiuser and also not multidevice. So it does not serve by default the most common Restaurant use case of having different or several persons to serve as a waiter or cashier afterwards. Would be nice to know, if someone is running a restaurant using that 100 Euro Sync-Module. Also take care, that pos does not allow for Variant-Products. You will have a hard time, if you want give your clients the choice, whether the coffee should be with warm or cold milk, or soy etc. Or if pizza has extra ingredients or if you want to sell combos.
I agree it would be nice to know if someone is using that module.
I did not tested to run at the same time on 2 devices with the same user. I always tested on one device, then I switch to another but not using both devices at the same time.
I did not get any issue doing that.

Thank you but it does not show that I can have 2 user at the same time on the same POS from different devices...
You can not achieve it by different user account.
But at same time everyone have to login with 1 user account then you have all user have one point of sale.
