Hello,

I am trying to set up a dbase where the user can add different documents to a task.

These personal documents should be visible when the customer (= portal user) logs in.

When the portal user download these documents, we should have a log (=proof) that he/she has downloaded the documents.


What is the best way to achieve this?


Via the documents app, a separate workspace per task and shared links?

Via a URL that points to a cloud storage, visible when logged in and follower of that task?

Via a URL that point directly to the file in the documents app or attachment in the Odoo dbase.


Anyone has some experience with this?

You simply need to create fields that allow uploading documents, and then provide a user interface. When the user clicks the download button, you can call a function to update a record with the download history, including the date and time of the download. You will need to build this functionality yourself, as there is no existing feature with this functionality available.
