How can I forecast my parts needs? Let's say I want to build 100 items and each item takes 200 parts......how can I enter that forecast so I can make my parts orders without generating a dummy MO to kick out a replenishment report that I'll have to go back and erase?

You can create MO in draft state or Create corresponding SO based on that system will shows the forecasted quantity..
There is no report that could do this without creating the MO?
