I've got 4000 products in odoo and all of them are correctly categorized (in the general information of the product, product category). Right now we want to start using the eCommerce and the Odoo website, but what i see is that it seems i have to create all the categories for the eCommerce... Does this make any sense? Is there anyplace where i can just "tick" something so the eCommerce categories are the same has the products ones ?

Hi,
Unfortunately, there is no button to click or square to tick to use your sales categories.
But what you can do is to export your sales categories and then, import them in the eCommerce categories.
Then, you can create a server action so that each time a specific product category is added to a product, a certain eCommerce category is also linked to it.
