Hello Odoo,
Is there a way to have my orders through the e-commerce instantly be a sales order rather than quotation sent?
Hi,
In odoo, if you confirm an order from the e-commerce website, it will be automatically moves in to the sales order. In the below screenshot I have made a sale order with reference SO0070
Go to home page -> e-commerce -> order -> open SO and check its status
It will be automatically in the sales order stage.
Hope it helps
Hello,
This only applies to paid? What if someone chooses pay in store option? I still want it to be a sales order as I have MTO configuration on products and wont be tracking the orders page all day.
Hi. We are having an issue with our new Odoo website shop. I cannot figure out why website orders stay in Quotation and are not automatically confirmed when payment is made. The quotation even shows the PayPal transaction as confirmed in the activity log.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Hello adam, are you sure this setting is enabled?
Payment
Automatically validate order
Automatically validates orders paid with a payment terminal.
It already does. A quotation is created as soon as a product gets added to the cart. Once user completes checkout (with payment), that quote becomes a sales order.
Is there a way for it to become a sales order while people use the "Pay in store" payment method?
Yes. Just set an automation that triggers on Sales Order update, and use the filter shipping method to determine if it Pick-up in Store was used.
I set an automation on Sales Order update and filtered it to be sales team (website). It seems to work at the moment, thank you.
You could create an automated action
