In my Shipping config, I choose a Provider (BPOST) to create a shipping label.

It also calculates the shipping cost, but I want to override the calculation with a Fixed Price.

Once you choose a specific provider there is no fixed price option, but I set the sales price of the delivery product attached.  It does not help.

When I choose Fixed Price as provider, it is not going to create my provider supported shipping label.   When I choose the BPOST provider, it is using the calculated cost.

How to fix that?   It should not be so hard to override the provider calculated cost.

Either the Fixed Price option should allow somewhere to choose my BPOST provider to create the shipping label, or de BPOST provider option should allow an override of the calculated price.

I'm missing something.

Is my question not clear or is nobody using this functionality?

I checked with support and they state I should use fixed price and then for every order, I need to set the delivery to the right carrier.
That's crazy if you need to handle multiple webshop orders per day.

When I choose my provider on the shipping method (and not fixed price or rules based) it's also going to default to that provider on the delivery of the order, which is what I need for it to create the shipping label.
