The current barcode app in V12, when performing stock transfers, automatically increments the quantity by 1 for each product of which the barcode is scanned.

However this only works for products that are not tracked by lots.

When a product is tracked by lot, the barcode app only highlights which line of the transfer order needs to be updated (which can only be done with a keyboard...). It does NOT increment the quantity automatically.

Obviously the current working for products tracked by lot is very cumbersome.

Has anybody found a solution to this? Alternatively, can anybody indicate which part of the code needs be amended to address this?

If the tracking of the product is by lots, then you should scan the barcode of the serial number as well after the product barcode is scanned.

Once you scan the product barcode and then lot barcode, the quantity will be increased by 1.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem, did you find a solution?

Thank you very much.

Very interesting, thanks!

However the problem is unfortunately more complex on my side: there is NO barcode for the lot number. This is actually the case for the vast majority of products handled: the product has a barcode with its EAN code, but the lot number is written in plain language. This is the case of all food products here. What is my alternative?
