Hi,
I have a glass manufacturing company where i produce a byproduct "Cullet" which is the broken glass pieces.
In the BoM of the product I need the to insert the same product cullet as it gets reused in the furnace.But whenI try to add it to the BoM Odoo shows a error that " BoM line product [3783] Cullet (Local BD) should not be the same as BoM product."
How can I resolve this?

In V15, you could have a product BOM with the product as component as well.
Since you are in V14, you could either record the by-product as another product (Cullet - Process by-product) and convert to product 'Cullet' with an MO, where Cullet - process by-product is BOM component
Or have a multi-level BOM with an intermediate product like "molten glass".
