We have some suppliers with different update routine. We don't have internal stock, but we want to know at any time if we are able to buy a product, which amount of the product the supplier have...

I know this way to do this : get a file with supplier's FTP, then update our OpenERP database directly (hum), all this each hour with a Python script (and Ubuntu's cron of course).

This is really bad I think. Can OpenERP make it easier by itself ?
