I have follow the path of creating a new model under Technical. From the same screen, I have been able to create the menu. It works fine from the menu and allows saving of records etc.
Problem we have is when I go to create a view, either from the development mode menu or from user interface>views under Technical the system does not save it. It shows no error and just sits on the same form.
Any ideas?

Ok this seems if I am in the tree and click manage views, I can only select the tree, if I am in the form view I can only select form view. This is of course if already created. Additionally, when creating a new view seems the seem, if you are in Tree view, that is the only type you can do. Problem is, after saving it does not confirm the save and when leaving the "create view" form, the saved view does not appear. You have to leave the "manage views" screen and re enter. Also it does still not always create a new view, it seems hit and miss.
