Hello how are you?
I need help with the following topic. I have several different products, which in some cases share the same raw material. The problem occurs when I want to produce two or more products that share a raw material but I run out of stock of that raw material. That is to say, I need that when I generate an order that contains a raw material and all or a large part of it is consumed and then I want to add another manufacturing order for another product that contains that raw material and the stock is not sufficient, the system tells me that it is not it's possible. One option would be to merge the two orders, but since they are different bills of materials, this is not possible.

Thanks for the help
Greetings

Hello

one practical solution involves a two-step manufacturing process with a focus on preproduction stock management

if you have to MO one using 30 Raw material (RM) and an other 70 RM

in that case you transfert 100 RM to preproduction location

if the first MO consume 40 RM instead of 30 you will be alert that there is not enough RM fo MO2
