Replacement Orders

Question

Im wondering how to keep track of replacement orders. If we delivery something damaged or the item gets lost on its way to a customer we would need to send out a replacement. But we want to be able to keep track that

1- The orders are tied together and

2- Be able to run reports and see how many replacements we send to specific customers.

1) Firstly, Order Return and Order Replacement are two different concepts altogether
2) In case of Order Return,same goods would come back to the seller, but in case of Order replacement a new Order needs to be placed (i.e. new product needs to be delivered)
3) Hence, bu default in Odoo these Order Replacement Feature is not possible, you would customization
4) But if you requirement is for Order Return, then we have module already developed and globally accepted by many users and appreciated. Y

For return of damaged good Odoo is already mange the things with or without invoice return (Having information of source documents).

But, for your futher reqirement it needs customiztion.
