I have a problem in the Sales module in ODOO 19. When I have an order — for example, S00058 — I add the products and then try to confirm it, but it says “Invalid operation.” It gives me an error saying “No replenishment rule found. Product name: In transit between warehouses. Please check the route configuration on the product.” something like that

I’ve gone to the routes, configured them, set up the rules for replenishment, and so on, but I don’t understand why it still doesn’t work. I’ve set everything related to inter-warehouse requirements, etc., but the error keeps appearing.

I’ve tried multiple ways, even methods I know aren’t the right ones, just to see if it would work — but nothing. I’ve given up because it won’t let me confirm the order. I really need help, please.

"Help with Sales" is not a question. A question is a substantial phrase that ends with "?"

We get close to 1,000 posts a month and not everyone will open a post to find out what your question is.

I have edited your post to make the title a question.

In the future, please consider (1) using a Question that makes it clear what you ask without requiring people to open your post and (2) adding Tags. This will often increase the chances people will respond and also make everything clearer for others who may come along later searching for the same thing.

Failing that, you can paste your future posts into an AI Chatbot and ask it to "please generate a question of no more than 16 words that summarizes what I am asking" and use that as your question.

Hello,
Can you share the full error message here?

Hi,

This issue occurs because Odoo cannot find a valid replenishment or transfer rule for one or more products when confirming a sale order. In multi-warehouse setups or when using “In Transit” routes, Odoo needs a complete route configuration that defines how stock moves between locations (for example, from Warehouse A → Transit → Warehouse B → Customer). If any step in that route is missing a rule, the system raises the “No replenishment rule found” error.

To fix it, you need to verify that the product’s routes are correctly assigned under the Inventory tab, ensuring the proper route (such as Buy, Make to Order, or Inter-Warehouse Transfer) is selected. Next, check the route rules under Inventory → Configuration → Routes — each route should include push or pull rules linking all required locations, with correct operation types and source/destination locations.

Also, review your warehouse configuration to confirm that input, stock, output, and transit locations are properly defined and connected to the routes. If you are unsure where the error occurs, temporarily apply a standard route like “Deliver from WH/Stock” to see if it resolves the issue — this helps identify problems in custom routes.

In short, the error happens because the route configuration for transferring products is incomplete. Once every location and rule is properly defined in your inter-warehouse or delivery route, Odoo will be able to confirm the sales order without any issues.

Hope it helps
