We are testing our database in Odoo 19, and the settings do now allow us to save even with no changes. We have no customizations and do not use Studio. We are new to Odoo and our database is not yet live, so we have not been through an upgrade. Is there a simple fix here, or is this something that will require a support ticket?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Akuntansi
- Inventaris
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

This issue may be caused by the accounting folder being unset. To resolve it, you can set the accounting folder setting.
To set the accounting folder:
- Enter Settings
- Click "Documents" on the left
- Under "Accounting," set the folder to one of your choice. If "Default Project Folder" is unset, this could also be the cause of the issue.
If this isn't the issue, after attempting to save, look through all the settings to see if any fields are red. This indicates that they are required fields, and need to be set in order to save.
