Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
Inventory > Products > General Information Tab inside of a product > Field for "Manufacturer" (usually below Product Category and Internal Reference).
This field used to show for us and now it doesn't. I am not aware of anything specific that changed, but we need to have that field show again.

There is no field called Manufacturer in odoo products
However you can add this field using Odoo Studio, Or using a third-party module
To do so in Studio you will have to make sure that you use the enterprise edition then go to any product and press on the studio button next to your name
then drag the text field
to the place you want "For Example below Product Category"
in the Label Section Enter the name of the field "For Example Manufacturer"
And then click on Close

In later versions of Odoo, the Manufacturer field is located in the Inventory tab, as shown in the image below.

This is where we type in the name of the manufacturer of the product. I am not positive if it was a custom field or not.
If it is a field for entering the manufacturer's name, I think it is a custom field.

In Odoo 17, the General Information tab does not include a Manufacturer field between Product Category and Internal Reference.
It is likely a custom field that was added.
