As I understand it, it's not possible to order an Odoo IOT box anymore.
We need to get a raspberry pi ourselves and flash an IOT image.
I also know there is a virtual IOT emulator for windows.
But is there is surcharge each month for connecting a self purchased raspberry pi (plus IOT image) or virtual iot emulator for windows?
The Odoo iot webpage and FAQ mentions a surcharge of about 25 euros a month.
Is this outdated information?

I have the same question. My expectation is that we will be charged the monthly fee for the functionality provided by the IoT app even if we use our own physical or virtual box.
