I am looking for a way to automate replenishment using the Min/Max replenishment rules. Because of our custom machines and workflow, it would be too complicated for us to track inventory directly through the Sales or manufacturing app. Instead, I am looking for another method to make inventory quantities gradually decrease over time based on our average weekly consumption of each part. Is there a way do to that?
One idea I found was to create a separate warehouse location called something like “Weekly Consumption” and perform internal transfers from the main stock location to this consumption location according to the average quantity used per week for each part. However, the issue is that I cannot import the required quantities into an internal transfer in bulk. I currently have to enter each quantity manually one by one, which is not practical when we need to increase consumption quantities periodically.
